Internship is unpaid and student must be enrolled in a credit based program through a university.
As part of the news department, the intern will be provided with hands on expierence and report directly to station assigned Program Director or News Director. They will work directly to support TBD designated radio station brands and daily assignments and tasks will be delegated through News Director.

Nature of Internship:
Learn and utilize news gathering and producing tools of award winning radio news operation
Utilize media values to calculate earned media value for third parties Update website with current accurate news details
Post stories and photos on station web site and social media
Interact and follow news reporters in newsroom and on assignment out of building Enterprise, produce and write news stories for on air and on line Interact with other departments of the radio station
Photograph events for documenting Contribute creative ideas for news purposes Represent in a positive manner one of the nation’s most honored radio news teams and “flagship” of CCM+E
Observation opportunities: in-studio and various departments (gaining insight and understanding on how departments function as a whole). Other duties as assigned by program director or news directors
Requirements:
Intern will act as a professional representative of Clear Channel radio stations. Most work will be internal but intern may be schedule for supervised on site work with station events.
Must be punctual and have a reliable mode of transportation to work.

As part of the Sales Marketing department, the intern will be provided with hands on sales, marketing, brand promotion and digital branding experience on a daily basis. In addition, the intern will be involved in the creation and execution of key station partnerships, sales proposals and assist in executing both on air and onsite activities as part of their weekly schedule.

Education Requirements:
Some college experience or college degree preferred. Previous business-to-business or media sales experience preferred, but not required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
